Lately, between launching an eBook and figuring out podcasts, I’ve felt like a vintage record player—charming, maybe, but not quite built for this world. At 42, I never thought I’d feel this tech-tangled… but here I am, climbing the slope one slow, stubborn click at a time.

June 26, 2025 – A Woman’s Wondering
I’ve been writing for most of my life, but I never quite believed my stories were ‘worthy.’ Lately, though, I’ve realized that courage doesn’t always come in big waves—it sometimes tiptoes in through trembling hands and chocolate chip ice cream. This is me, showing up anyway.

July 4, 2025 – A Woman’s Wondering
I can’t think in pen—my thoughts only come alive with a wooden pencil in hand. There’s something in its quiet, erasable freedom that helps me dream, doodle, and discover. Not because I know the answers… but because I don’t have to.

July 15, 2025 – A Woman’s Wondering
Some days my house feels like a place of peace.
Other days, it feels like the extended cut of Silence of the Lambs, with tension so thick you could butter your toast with it.
My husband — freshly quit smoking and perpetually irritated with oxygen — stomps through the day like he’s in a duel with the air. My daughter, equally stubborn and born on the exact same day as him (yes, really), is in her own world of sass and silence. I am… the reluctant peace treaty in a dishtowel.

It wasn’t just ink on a page — it was every quiet prayer, every early morning draft, every moment I nearly gave up. The pen shook in my hand as I signed that first copy, not because I doubted the words, but because I couldn’t believe they were finally real. Around that little book table, strangers became friends and time softened. It felt less like a book signing and more like a gathering at a kitchen table — tea in hand, hearts open, and stories shared.
God didn’t miss the deadline. He never does. And in that sacred space, between bookmarks and biscuits, He reminded me: you’re not late, you’re right on time.
